Central Catholic names new Head Swim Coach
June 13, 2022 (Portland, OR)  Central Catholic is excited to welcome Denise Croucher as new Head Coach of the Swim program.

Denise attended Clark College and received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and an additional Bachelors in Pre-Medicine from the University of Portland.

Denise has been teaching, coaching, and competing as an athlete ever since. She completed Ironman competitions and qualified to run in the Boston Marathon. Denise started a new swim and triathlon program at Lacamas Swim & Sport and has been a volunteer coach for Camas, Seton, LaCenter and Hockinson High School swim teams. Most recently, Denise comes to the Rams from the Washougal School District, where she was the Head Coach of the swim team and an Assistant Track Coach.

Denise recognizes that the key to the success of any organization is its people and their passion. Coaching & teaching are a way of life for Denise; her passion, not just preventative medicine. Developing young people into productive, happy adults is a coach’s most important role, according to Denise. She is looking forward to continuing the legacy of the Ram swimming program with dedicated athletes who act with character and respect. Inheriting a program with this level of success and recognition is a blessing and a challenge - one that she is very excited for!

Welcome to the Ramily Denise!
