Directing your gift to the Area of Greatest Need is possibly the most important way you can support Central Catholic. Your unrestricted gift allows the school flexibility to invest your dollars where they will have an immediate impact, helping us to maintain our small class sizes, hire the most qualified faculty, and address critical operational needs as they arise.

Endowment funds ensure Central Catholic’s future as an institution of the highest quality. Gifts specified for endowment purposes are placed in the Endowment Fund and can be designated to support scholarships, teacher salaries, or general purposes, as well as new program development.

More than 50% of our student body receives tuition assistance in one form or another. A gift directed to Tuition Assistance offsets the ever-increasing cost to educate a student, and will provide direct benefit to students who might not otherwise be able to attend Central Catholic.

Your investment in the Academic program at Central Catholic will advance our mission as a college preparatory high school, educating the whole person, intellectually, spiritually, physically and emotionally. It will also support talented, highly qualified faculty committed to providing students with a robust academic experience, both in and outside of the classroom.

Student Activities are a vibrant and integral part of the Central Catholic experience for our student body, and our goal is to provide unique and enjoyable experiences for our entire school community. Student Activities provide a wide variety of co-curricular activities and clubs to make it easy for students to meet new people, discover their passion, and a sense of belonging within our community.

A Central Catholic education seeks to integrate and develop the heart, the mind, the body and the soul of each student, challenging them to live as a Christian witness in service to others. As Christ-centered ministries, grounded in Catholic tradition, and integrated into all areas of the Central Catholic community, our Campus Ministry and Christian Service programs are designed to help the students of Central Catholic become people of faith, compassion and knowledge, with a commitment to justice and service to others. Your gift will help us expand offerings for retreats and school liturgies, and service opportunities to the greater Portland community and beyond.

Your gift to Athletics in an investment in our mission to educate the whole person, and we believe that athletics plays a major part in our students’ development. More than 70% of our student body participates in at least one sport each year, but our goal is to provide opportunities for all levels of student athletes to participate in a variety of sports. Central Catholic fields teams for 19 different sports and hosts five club teams.

Directing your gift to the Fine Arts program at Central Catholic will help us to continue our tradition of exploring, developing and nurturing the artistic gifts of each student in the disciplines of theater, music, and visual arts.

Encompassing the RAMS program and Student Support Services, both of which support students with identified learning challenges and those with developmental and intellectual disabilities, our Center for Inclusive Education (CIE) is also a resource to our elementary school partners who are seeking ways to support this population of students. Your gift to the CIE is the fulfillment of Central Catholic’s mission to educate a diverse student population.

Our Character in Leadership Program is a four-year enrichment program for students looking to make a difference in the world. Students in this program receive a $3,000 scholarship and take part in a broad range of activities designed to develop character and leadership skills for life. Your gift will allow us to offset the cost of tuition for these students and expand our program offerings to benefit the entire school.
