Central Catholic Fund:

The Central Catholic Fund is the cornerstone of giving to Central Catholic. It refers to the outreach to and solicitation from all sources, alumni, current and past parents, friends, corporations and foundations. The Office of Advancement is the primary driver of the Central Catholic Fund and reaches out through direct mail appeals, e-mail and other more targeted campaigns, seeking funds for tuition assistance and endowment, as well as unrestricted funds for operational priorities, such as teacher salaries, scholarship aid, student programs, library books, technology, and building maintenance. Through the vibrant tradition of giving to the Central Catholic Fund, the school is able to keep tuition at an affordable level for Central Catholic families and continue to build our tradition of a rigorous, inclusive education.

Parent Investment Program:

Because tuition only covers a portion of the cost to educate a student at Central Catholic, parents have the opportunity to bridge that gap by making a tax-deductible gift at a level commensurate with their ability to pay. For the 2022-2023 school year, the Full Cost to Educate a student is $21,163 tuition has been set at 79% of that amount, at $16,863. This leaves a gap of $4,300.

Presidents' Dinner and Auction:

The Presidents' Dinner and Auction is an annual event where the community comes together to celebrate what Central Catholic has given to them. The auction raises funds primarily for tuition assistance so that Central Catholic can remain true to Archbishop Howard’s vision of an affordable Catholic education. It also raises funds for special projects depending on current needs. Save the date for April 29, 2023!

If you would like information about the President’s dinner and Auction, please contact Sara Wright at 503.230.1056 ext.1243 or e-mail swright@centralcatholichigh.org.

Students4Students:

Once each year, the Central Catholic student body steps up to raise money for tuition assistance. Since more than 50% of the student body receives some form of financial aid, this is both a show of support for their classmates and an opportunity to give back to the community. With a goal of 100% participation in fundraising, students seek support from friends, relatives, their teachers and coaches, earning prizes and building community along the way. The student fundraiser has been a part of the Ram tradition since the 1960s so many alumni step up to help current students, coaching them on how to ask for a donation, how to write thank you notes and even making donations themselves.
