Constitution Day 2020

Constitution Day 2020
In honor of Constitution Day, the Central Catholic Constitution Team created a short video to help us remember and celebrate the aspirational goal of making the U.S. Constitution truly be for ALL people.
_________

What is Constitution Day? (other than the day the Social Studies department traditionally dresses in crazy gear and makes everyone take photos in their Constitution Day photo booth outside the Library...)
Per the US Dept. of Education (https://www2.ed.gov/policy/fund/guid/constitutionday.html):

“September 17 is Constitution Day and Citizenship Day (Constitution Day). This day commemorates the September 17, 1787 signing of the United States Constitution.

We encourage...community members to reflect on the importance of active citizenship, recognize the enduring strength of our Constitution, and reaffirm our commitment to the rights and obligations of citizenship in this great Nation.”
