Rams Run for Equity
Dear Central Catholic Community,
We wish you health and happiness as you head off to a well-deserved summer break!
It has been a challenging last couple of years. However, we could not be happier about your willingness to embrace change and support everyone in our community as we have attempted to tackle the many challenges that have come our way.
Central Catholic is incredibly optimistic about the future, and we know we are positioned to have a great future. We look forward to hitting the ground running next fall, so lace up your running shoes!
As you are lacing up your shoes, we hope that you will join the Horne family (Matt ‘88, Chrissy, Gabby ‘18, and Luke ‘21) and the rest of the Central Catholic athletic community as we positively move for change! Last year my family worked with CC athletics to launch the first-ever Rams Run for Equity. We invited members of the Central Catholic community to get fit and healthy by running, walking, cycling, golfing, or just standing with us as we sought to support local partners doing great work to make our local community a better place.
This year, the Rams Run for Equity 2 will take place throughout July. We are hoping you will join my family and others as we continue to support our Central Catholic partners throughout the state of Oregon. We are asking you to consider participating in one of two ways.
If you would like to be an active participant and/or marketer for the event, please use this link to sign up, and our team will contact you with additional information. Also, if you would just like to donate to the GoFundMe page for the event, please use this link. We will be collecting donations until July 31, and ALL donations are Tax Deductible!
All proceeds from the Rams Run for Equity 2 will benefit the following four non-profit organizations making a difference in the Portland community and throughout Oregon:
Native American Youth Family Center
